Rahma, sister of the late singer Isma’il Al-Laithi, confirmed that there are no disputes between his family and his wife, denying reports of disagreements over his possessions, coinciding with the fortieth day since his passing.
She explained that their relationship is going smoothly, and all financial obligations that were on Isma’il were settled from his own belongings without any interference from his siblings.
She pointed out that the car previously owned by the late singer will have its installments fully paid by the end of the current December, with support from some close friends, noting that his mother keeps the gold ring he used to wear, while one of his phones was damaged in the incident and the other has been inactive since then.
The beginning of the controversy dates back to after Al-Laithi’s death, when his wife, Shaimaa Saeed’s car was involved in an accident caused by the collapse of part of the garage roof in the building where she lives, resulting in severe damage to six cars, according to official investigations in Egypt.
Earlier, Shaimaa Saeed appeared in a live broadcast on her TikTok account, speaking about her psychological struggles, asking for respect for her privacy and that of her daughters, and affirming her confidence that divine justice will take its course.
Shaimaa had previously accused her late husband’s family of taking some of his personal belongings, including clothes, gold jewelry, and mobile phones.
