According to Turkish reports, the bride, Nazdar Barzani, a prominent member of the Barzani family in Iraq and cousin of the Kurdistan Regional Government President Masoud Barzani, married young lawyer Kahraman Zulfikar Izol, 26, in a luxurious ceremony held in the city of Şanlıurfa, Turkey.
Media outlets reported that the groom comes from a political family, being the nephew of a former deputy from the Justice and Development Party in Şanlıurfa, Zulfikar Izol.
The event was attended by thousands of guests from different parts of Turkey, who presented the bride with valuable gifts amounting to several kilograms of gold, amidst a joyful celebratory atmosphere. The festivities included traditional musical performances and folk dances that continued late into the night, reflecting the extravagance and top-level organization of the wedding.
One notable moment during the ceremony was when the bride performed the traditional folk dance "Halay" but had to sit after a short time due to the weight of her jewelry, impressing everyone with her dedication to participating despite the difficulty.
