Arrest of Late Director’s Son to Clarify Circumstances of the Crime Nick Reiner Was Taking Psychiatric Medications to Manage Schizophrenia

The city of Los Angeles was shaken by tragic news after American director Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle Singer Reiner were killed inside their home on Sunday, while their son Nick Reiner was arrested in connection with the incident.

Reports revealed that Nick had been receiving psychiatric treatment for schizophrenia since being diagnosed years ago and was taking medications designed to help him manage the condition.

Authorities stated that Nick was arrested near the University of Southern California a few hours after his parents’ bodies were found. He is now in custody and appeared in court wearing a jacket and handcuffs, without making any statements so far.
