In the past few hours, a rumor about the death of Egyptian actor Roshwan Tawfiq spread on social media, causing concern and confusion in the artistic community. In response to this rumor, his daughter, media personality Heba Roshwan, stepped forward to clarify her father’s health status.

Heba told the press that all reports about her father’s death are false, confirming that he is in good health and living a normal life. She added, “My father is fine, and everything published about his death is just rumors and online hoaxes.”

Repeated Death Rumors

Heba also confirmed that social media has announced her father’s death more than 30 times, to the point that she doubted herself and went to check on him, reassuring the public that he is well, thank God.

She added that any official news about her father’s passing would be announced directly through her personal account, as was the case when her mother passed away, emphasizing that there is no reason to hide such news.

“No Legal Action”

Regarding the possibility of the family taking legal action against the fake pages that promoted the rumor, Heba denied this, confirming that the family has not filed any complaints nor taken any legal steps in this regard.

It is worth noting that Roshwan Tawfiq’s latest work was his participation in the series "Wataqabel Habib", alongside a distinguished cast including Yasmine Abdel Aziz, Karim Fahmy, Khaled Selim, Nicole Saba, Anoushka, Basant Shawky, Salah Abdullah, Hanan Suleiman, Mahmoud Yassin Junior, Menna Arafa, Basant Abubasha, Angie Kiwan, Batoul El Haddad, Karim Abdel Khaleq, Hamdy Heikal, and Reem Raafat. The series was written by Amr Mahmoud Yassin and directed by Mohamed El Khibry.
