Record Numbers and Continued Leadership in Ramadan 2025 Social Media Views Surpass 2 Billion "Ipsos": Roya Channel Ranked First in Daily Viewership Ratings in Jordan During Last Ramadan

Roya Media Group recorded exceptional performance across its various media platforms during Ramadan 2025, achieving unprecedented figures that reflect strong audience engagement and confirm its status as a leading media platform in Jordan and the region.

According to digital platform statistics for Roya Group, the total number of views on social media exceeded 2 billion, marking a significant 42% growth compared to last year. Additionally, the group's digital platforms, including its website and apps, recorded over 72 million views, reflecting a 26% increase compared to the previous year.

Results from a recent study conducted by Ipsos, a market and public opinion research firm, showed that Roya Channel ranked first in daily viewership ratings in Jordan during Ramadan 2025, reaffirming its leadership in the media scene for the ninth consecutive year. This ranking is based on reliable data from multiple research companies, with Ipsos being the most prominent over the past six years.

Roya confirms its top position in the media landscape for the ninth consecutive year, based on trustworthy data from several research firms. For the sixth consecutive year, according to Ipsos, the channel achieved the highest daily viewership ratings for TV audiences in Jordan during Ramadan 2025.

The channel’s viewership share reached 56.6%, representing a 12.5% increase compared to Ramadan 2024. More than 2.8 million viewers watched Roya daily inside Jordan during Ramadan, a figure that highlights the quality of the channel's well-curated content, which successfully attracted Jordanian audiences through its diverse programs.

Several shows stood out during the holy month, drawing wide audience attention. The program "Comedy Hour" led daily viewership ratings with a 25.3% share, showing a substantial growth of 49% compared to last year. Roya’s "Roya News Bulletin" also recorded a daily viewership rate of 8.3%, growing by 22%, maintaining its lead over competing local news programs.

In the cooking show category, which sees high demand during Ramadan, Roya outperformed other local channels, ranking first across all its cooking shows: "Roya Kitchen with Nabil," "Strongest Table," "Let’s Cook," and "Our Dear Al-Lazem." In the drama series category, Roya’s "Al-Sabaa" and "Taht Sabea Ard" topped viewership ratings in Jordan during Ramadan 2025.
