Kuwaiti actress Rowan Bin Hussein appeared for the first time after her release from the central prison in Dubai, UAE. Rowan posted on her official Instagram story a photo from inside an airplane cabin, commenting: “Praise be to God, abundant, good, and blessed”.

Her last public communication from inside the prison was through a photo and a touching voice message to her daughter Luna Al-Muqrif on the last Mother’s Day, where she expressed her pride, love, and encouraged her daughter to stay strong until they are reunited.

Rowan said: “I am very lucky that you are my daughter. Thank you for making me a mother. Soon, mama will return to you and we will go back to Kuwait where you will see the relatives. I love you very much and I cannot wait to hug you again. Remember, you are number one in your mother’s heart.”

Details of the Court Ruling The Dubai Criminal Court issued in March a sentence of six months imprisonment for Rowan Bin Hussein, with a fine of 20,000 UAE Dirhams, deportation from the country, and referral of the civil case to the competent civil court. This decision came after investigations that referred the case to the Criminal Court for legal consideration.

Dubai authorities confirmed that anyone who violates the law will be held accountable, emphasizing that the law is the primary reference for the rights and duties of everyone living in or visiting Dubai.
