"Sama Ibrahim Suffers Severe Health Scare – The Reason is "Shocking

Egyptian actress Sama Ibrahim revealed that she suffered a severe health issue caused by using cotton swabs to clean her ears, which led to a fungal infection inside her ear. The infection caused intense pain, loss of balance, and a middle ear inflammation.
Sama shared details of her condition on her official Instagram account, where she posted a photo showing part of the fungus that was removed from her ear. She captioned the post: “Thank God in every situation… What you see in the photo is part of a fungus in the ear that caused pain, loss of balance, and middle ear inflammation. We’re in the treatment stage now, but it’s incredible how something so small can cause such disasters.”
She urged her followers to be cautious about using cotton swabs, warning that their harm may be far greater than expected—leaving many fans shocked.
Sama also apologized to her followers for her absence and lack of communication during her illness, asking for their prayers. She extended special thanks to actor Mohamed Radwan and his wife for their support, as well as to her friends who stood by her.
Her Artistic Career and Appearances
In a previous radio interview, Sama Ibrahim spoke about her experience in the TV series “Family Matter” (Mawdoo’ ‘A’eli), praising her role as “Zeinab,” which she said represents the spirit of Egyptian women. She noted that the character’s success stemmed from the chemistry and teamwork among the cast and crew.
Her most recent Ramadan appearance was in the drama “Child Treatment Certificate” (Shahadet Mo’amelat Atfal), aired during last Ramadan season. She played a key role alongside a group of prominent actors, including Mohamed Henedy and Sabry Fawaz. The series was written by Mohamed Suleiman Abdel-Malek and directed by Sameh Abdel-Aziz.
