Earlier, Hamaki had also reassured his fans via an Instagram Story on his official account, saying:"In the past few hours, a lot of exaggerated news has been circulating about my health. I was undergoing a minor procedure that had been scheduled for a while, and thankfully, it went smoothly. I’m now back home."

“Ma Balash”: A Song of Pain and Memory

In a separate context, Hamaki spoke about his hit song “Ma Balash”, which has gained wide popularity, revealing its connection to a deeply personal and emotional memory."I love the song and also don’t love it at the same time. I love it because it resonates with people, but I hate the moment it reminds me of something very personal," he said.

He went on to explain that the song holds a special emotional weight for him, as it reminds him of his late father, making it a deeply moving experience to perform it live each time.

Upcoming Moroccan Song and a Return to Jerash Festival

Artistically, Hamaki revealed that he is currently working on a new song in the Moroccan dialect, emphasizing his commitment to delivering a piece that respects both Moroccan and broader Arab musical tastes."The Moroccan dialect is not easy, but I really want to present something that respects the Moroccan and Arab audiences. I’m learning to pronounce it properly," he said.

Hamaki is also set to perform at the upcoming Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts in Jordan, taking the stage at the Southern Theater on Friday, August 1, in what will be his second appearance at the festival, after his debut performance in 2014. His return after more than a decade is highly anticipated, marking a comeback to one of the Arab world’s most renowned cultural stages.
