Syrian singer Nassif Zeytoun is preparing to kick off the opening night of the Southern Theater as part of the 39th edition of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts in Jordan. The concert is scheduled for the evening of Thursday, July 24, marking his first-ever participation in this historic cultural and artistic event.

Zeytoun shared a promotional video on his official Instagram account, showing the official concert poster with his image in front of the iconic Jerash amphitheater. The poster read: "Jerash Opening Star – Nassif Zeytoun." He paired the video with a clip from his hit song “Hiya Helweh”, commenting: "It’s going to be a night to remember in Jerash… See you Thursday, July 24. Ready?"

The video quickly sparked excitement across social media, with fans expressing their enthusiasm, especially since it will be his first appearance on the Southern Theater stage. Comments flooded in such as: “You lit up Jordan” and “We’re waiting for the night of a lifetime.”

Zeytoun had previously expressed pride in this participation, saying: "A dream come true... It’s a great honor to open the 2025 Jerash Festival, and I hope to live up to expectations."

Ticket sales surged with the launch of online booking for Zeytoun’s concert, with expectations that this show will be among the most attended events of the year—especially given his wide popularity among youth in Jordan and the region.

Festival director Ayman Samawi announced a lineup of major Arab artists participating this year, including Mayada El Hennawy, Assala Nasri, Ahlam, and Noor Mehanna, with more names to be revealed soon.

This year’s Jerash Festival offers a rich cultural and artistic program, featuring musical, poetic, and folkloric performances across seven venues in the ancient city of Jerash and the capital Amman.
