In her complaint, she called for an urgent investigation and the necessary legal measures to be taken following the incident, which occurred inside a five-a-side football field within a residential compound in Sheikh Zayed City.

The complaint, registered under No. 2282 of 2025 at Sheikh Zayed Second District, states that the incident took place on May 25, when the two boys were playing on the field and were suddenly attacked by an aggressive dog. The attack resulted in documented physical injuries and severe psychological trauma, according to the medical reports attached to the complaint.

Demand for Temporary Compensation

As part of the legal escalation, Zeina’s lawyer, Counselor Assem Kandil, explained that on July 1st he submitted two official requests to the relevant prosecution office. The first request was to file a civil lawsuit demanding temporary compensation of EGP 100,000 for the material and emotional damages suffered by his client and her children. The second request was to obtain an official copy of the case file and attached documents, in preparation for further legal steps.

Zeina and her family now await swift judicial action to hold those responsible accountable and to help prevent similar incidents that pose a threat to children’s safety in private residential areas.
