The British police announced the discovery of the body of 20-year-old student Connor James Calleja, after he went missing last Sunday near Court 1 on the University of Lincoln campus.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said on Tuesday that the body was found during a search at "Foss Bank," a water body near Brayford Pool.

The police clarified that, although formal identification has not yet been completed, the body is believed to belong to Connor.

They added that the student’s family has been informed and is receiving support from specially trained officers for such cases.

Authorities confirmed that there are no suspected suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
