Social media has been abuzz in the past few hours with reports of the death of an elderly woman, reportedly in her eighties, after becoming the victim of a tragic accident inside a confectionery factory in the Abdali area of the capital, Amman.
According to reports, the woman was inside the factory owned by her brother, in which she was a partner, known for her activity and independence despite her advanced age, and she enjoyed good health. However, fate put an end to her energy, as she did not wish to stay at home and succumb to age.
It was reported that she relied on herself, drove her vehicle, and continually sought to be active and leave the house to enjoy her health. On the morning of the incident, she was warmly dressed and had wrapped a scarf around her neck, which, in an unexpected moment, got caught on the shaft of a flour mixer, causing her to fall inside and die instantly in a shocking and painful accident.
Emergency teams, security forces, and forensic personnel arrived immediately, the body was transported, necessary procedures were taken, and an investigation began to determine the details of the incident.
