Egyptian artist Shadi Shamel sparked controversy after sharing a post on his Facebook page, stating that Sherine Abdel Wahab had moved into a fellow star’s home to receive medical care.

Social media platforms widely circulated the post, with reports claiming Sherine was secretly transported to Zina’s home via ambulance.

Others speculated she went to Yasmin Abdel Aziz’s residence, while some suggested she settled at Esaad Younes’ house.

Some followers noted that Sherine’s close friends rushed to support and visit her after her move, including Ahmed Saad, who denied the reports, explaining that he was abroad due to professional commitments.

Sherine Abdel Wahab’s family chose to remain silent and did not comment on the circulating news.

Shamel’s post caused concern among her fans, who urged her to appear to confirm or deny the news and reassure them about her condition, while hoping for her return to music and recovery from her crisis.

Ashraf Zaki, head of the Actors’ Syndicate, confirmed that Social Solidarity Minister Maya Morsi contacted the syndicate to provide Sherine with the necessary support during her crisis.

He added, “We are a group of friends who agreed to put our hands in each other’s to preserve the value of an artist like Sherine. One day, the Minister of Social Solidarity stayed on the phone with us until dawn to investigate the mystery of Sherine’s disappearance and said she would provide all the resources the syndicate needs and more to ensure Sherine’s safety and return.”
