A recent report by the American site The Athletic revealed a significant increase in resale prices for 2026 World Cup tickets, following the announcement of the draw and the 12 groups last Friday.
The Jordan vs. Argentina match in the third round witnessed one of the highest resale price increases.
The ticket for this match reached $1,158, a 227% increase, making it the sixth highest ticket in terms of resale price increase.
The report noted that ticket prices rose for 78 matches out of the 91 scheduled in the United States and Canada.
Resale means that some fans purchased tickets from FIFA’s official website during the first two release phases and later offered them for sale at higher prices through resale platforms such as StubHub and SeatGeek.
According to the draw, Jordan is placed in Group J alongside Argentina, Algeria, and Austria. The match dates and locations vary: Jordan’s opening match against Austria will take place on June 16 in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Jordan will face Algeria on June 22 in the same area, and will conclude its group stage matches against Argentina on June 27 in Dallas.
