Concerns are mounting over the health of Lebanese singer Fadl Shaker amid conflicting information circulating on social media, with some reports claiming his condition has worsened while he remains in detention.

Despite statements from his son, Mohammad Fadl Shaker, reassuring the public that his father is “in good health” and not experiencing any medical issues, the debate resurfaced following comments from Lebanese political analyst Joseph Abu Fadel. He suggested that the singer might be transferred to a hospital in the coming hours due to “significantly high blood pressure,” alongside indicators related to the diabetes he has battled for years.

“The situation requires careful medical monitoring” Abu Fadel added that Fadl Shaker’s condition necessitates close medical supervision, heightening public concern and questions about the singer’s well-being amid contradictory rumors about his status in detention.

These developments come as legal proceedings continue. Shaker’s trial has been postponed to February 3, 2026, at the request of his lawyer, Amata Mubarak, to review the four cases against him, according to the Lebanese National News Agency.
