Olive Branch"… A musical message from Aida Al-Ayubi in support of Gaza"

Egyptian singer Aida Al-Ayubi has once again highlighted the Palestinian cause and the hardships faced under the occupation by releasing her new song titled "Ghusn Al-Zaytoun" (Olive Branch), a work that carries a message of solidarity and support.
Al-Ayubi shared the song on her official Facebook page with the comment: "A tribute to the steadfast people of Gaza on their land despite all the aggression."
The song features lyrics written by Sheikh Ahmed Taha Gaber, while Al-Ayubi herself composed the music, and it was arranged by musician Khaled El Kamar.
Prior to the official release, Al-Ayubi gave audiences a preview of the song during an Egyptian TV program before making it fully available to the public.
A long-standing message of support
The singer emphasized that her support for the Palestinian cause is longstanding. Since the 1990s, she has released works such as "Asfour Tal Min Al-Shubbak" (A Bird Flew from the Window), composed by Marcel Khalifa with lyrics by Mahmoud Darwish, which she performed for the first time at the American University in Cairo during Land Day events to support Palestinian refugees.
She also performed "Nami Ya Saghira" (Sleep, Little One) in her famous 1991 album "Ala Bali", further reinforcing her message of solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Distinctive works and wide audience response
Al-Ayubi is set to perform at a concert in the Aerowath Hall at the American University as part of the "Hey Al-Funun" festival, led by maestro Wagdy El Fawy, scheduled for October 5. The audience responded enthusiastically to her new song during her recent participation in the "International Summer" festival, welcoming both its rhythm and its humanitarian message.
Her latest release prior to "Ghusn Al-Zaytoun" was the song "Bahlam" (I Dream), released in June, which continues her tradition of combining music and art with messages of social and human support.
