Sherine’s account manager demands 200,000 Egyptian pounds in compensation

Sherine’s account manager’s lawyer, Fahd Marzouq, sent a formal notice to her villa in Sheikh Zayed City, requesting the stated compensation.
"Use of Offensive Language"
The notice indicated that the public prosecutor referred Sherine Abdel-Wahab to trial for allegedly using offensive language toward her account manager in May 2025, which reportedly damaged his honor and reputation, in addition to the misuse of communication tools via mobile phone.
The account manager is seeking temporary civil compensation of 200,000 Egyptian pounds for the material and moral damages caused by these actions, along with requiring Sherine to cover court costs and attorney fees, while reserving all other rights of the plaintiff.
The court handed the notice to Sherine’s villa, summoning her to appear before the Cairo Economic Court on Thursday, October 9, to hear the case at the request of the public prosecutor.
According to sources, Sherine traveled to one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland, where she is undergoing a psychological treatment program lasting six to seven months to help her overcome recent mental health challenges.
"Complete Isolation"
Sources explained that Sherine is living in complete isolation at the clinic under doctors’ instructions, prohibited from using her mobile phone or communicating with the outside world. She is accompanied only by two close aides providing emotional support.
Her daughters, Hana and Maryam, are reportedly staying with their father, composer Mohamed Mostafa, in a stable family environment until their mother completes her treatment and fully recovers.
Meanwhile, other media reports categorically denied that Sherine traveled abroad, confirming that she remains in Cairo, personally supervising the care of her daughters in a calm family setting marked by understanding with their father.
A source told an Egyptian newspaper that rumors about her being in Switzerland are false, describing such reports as mere “rumors” resulting from her temporary absence from the artistic scene.
On the artistic front, Sherine released a patriotic song titled "Ghalia Alina Ya Baladna" in collaboration with poet Tamer Hussein, composer Amr Mostafa, and arranger Toma, which reassured her fans and brought a sense of comfort amid the ongoing personal challenges.
