Photos of Diala Al-Wadi’s Killers Released” and Disclosure of the Stolen Items

The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced, via its official social media accounts, the items stolen during an armed robbery that escalated into a murder in the upscale Al-Maliki neighborhood of Damascus, which claimed the life of artist Diala Al-Wadi, daughter of the renowned Iraqi musician Salhi Al-Wadi.
The Ministry also published photos of those involved in the crime on its official social media platforms, with their faces blurred to protect their privacy and identity during the investigations.
Details of the Stolen Items
The Ministry stated that the stolen items included several smartphones, knives, watches, and jewelry belonging to the victim, in addition to cash in both bills and coins, as well as a passport and other documents whose nature has not yet been disclosed.
Circumstances of the Crime
The crime occurred when an individual broke into Diala Al-Wadi’s home with the intent to rob it, strangling her to death before fleeing with the stolen items.
Arrest of the Suspect
Security authorities apprehended the suspect within less than 24 hours of the crime.
Ongoing Investigations
The Ministry confirmed that investigations are still ongoing to uncover all details of the crime, with the aim of referring the accused to the competent judiciary to complete legal procedures.
