Egyptian actress Mai Omar expressed her immense happiness after being selected among the “Top 100 Most Beautiful Faces in the World 2025”, securing eighth place globally, making her the first Egyptian to reach such a high ranking on the renowned international list.

Mai Omar shared an emotional message on her official Instagram account, saying: “I am honored to be nominated for the fourth time among the Top 100 Faces of 2025, and I am proud to have reached eighth place globally, marking the first time an Egyptian has achieved this ranking. This achievement is very special to me, and I carry it with love for my country.”

She added with pride: “This journey has never been just about beauty, but about representing my country with pride and showing that Egyptian women can shine anywhere in the world.”

The wife of director Mohamed Sami concluded her message by thanking her fans: “Thank you for all the love and support, these butterflies are for you.”

Her latest project was the series “Ish Ish”, starring alongside a stellar cast including Majid Al Masri, Entesar, Edward, Hala Sedki, Dina, Shaimaa Seif, Tarek El Nahry, Essam El Saqqa, Alaa Morsi, Mohamed El Sharnouby, Nada Moussa, Ehab Fahmy, Hamdy Heikal, and Ahmed Abdullah, as well as several guest stars such as Mohamed Mamdouh, Khaled El Sawy, Mohamed Abdelrahman, and Ahmed Zahir.

The series, written and directed by Mohamed Sami, follows a young woman named “Ish Ish”, who inherits both beauty and poverty from her mother, forcing her to work as a dancer.
