Gold prices in the local market are facing waves of fluctuating rises and falls, as they recorded a significant increase on Saturday morning. The selling price of a gram of 21-carat gold, the most demanded by citizens, reached 88 dinars per gram at jewelry stores, compared to 84.30 dinars for the buying price.
According to the evening bulletin issued by the General Union of Jewelry and Goldsmith Shops, the prices for other gold carats were 100.80 dinars for 24-carat, 78.50 dinars for 18-carat, and 60.60 dinars for 14-carat, for selling purposes in jewelry shops.
Earlier, 21-carat gold prices had exceeded 90 dinars per gram, raising wide questions among citizens about whether the price could reach 100 dinars in the coming days.
Thus, gold continues to dominate the local scene, generating significant interaction among citizens and investors alike, amid close monitoring of market movements and daily price fluctuations.
