Amid growing concern among her fans, rumors of the death of Egyptian actress Aida Riyad circulated on social media in recent hours, before the truth was clarified by the head of the Egyptian Actors Syndicate, Ashraf Zaki.

Zaki confirmed to local media that the circulating news is "completely false and was spread by a fake page impersonating the actress." He added that "Aida Riyad is at her home as usual and enjoys good health," noting that "legal actions are underway to pursue the founders and managers of that fake page."

Zaki also stated that such news "can be shocking and mentally painful, both for the artist and for her family and loved ones."

It is worth mentioning that the Egyptian actress had previously revealed that she was diagnosed with cancer during a period of her life, which greatly affected her mental state, and she prefers not to recall that phase after fully recovering.
