Fight Between Motorcyclist and Car Driver Leads to Two Deaths The Incident Began When the Motorcyclist Scratched a Car

A dispute between a motorcyclist and a car driver resulted in the deaths of two people in a major city, the center of the province.

Sources said the incident started when the motorcyclist, who works using the motorcycle as a means of transport, scratched one of the cars while passing through the busy main road in the western part of the city, leading to a verbal altercation with the car driver and his brother.

Flight of the Brothers Sources explained that one of the brothers opened fire on the motorcyclist, killing him instantly, while both brothers fled to an eastern district of the province.

The sources added that security forces pursued the brothers, and a confrontation broke out with one of them after he refused to surrender, resulting in his death, while a tribal elder handed over the other brother to the police before the clash occurred.

Calls for Stricter Measures Following the incident, activists on social media called for stricter restrictions on weapon possession and preventing its spread among civilians.

Previous reports by the “High Institute for International and Development Studies” in Switzerland indicate that the country ranks second after the United States in firearm ownership, with approximately 53 firearms per 100 people.
