As a strategic step aimed at advancing the technical system for age-group teams, the Jordan Football Association organized a specialized and intensive workshop in the field of "performance analysis."

This event is an integral part of the comprehensive youth development plan, adopted by the association to ensure building a solid foundation for the future of Jordanian football.

The workshop witnessed active participation from performance analysts and officials working in various national clubs, who form the cornerstone in tracking and developing young talents.

Notable participants included experts in the field: Tareq Khattab, Mustafa Abu Romh, Ahmad Sabra, Osama Al-Dhweib, Hamza Jaradat, Mohammad Bani Ata, Yanal Al-Dhyabat, Hadi Samarah, Baha Al-Abdat, Faisal Al-Ka’abneh, Ahmad Dawood, and Hashim Al-Jallad.

Workshop Focus: Linking Technology with the Field

The workshop focused on precise technical and artistic aspects, aiming to transform the performance analyst’s role from merely recording statistics to a central and influential role in technical decision-making. Key topics included:

• Integration with the technical staff: Defining the core role of the performance analyst as the coach’s right-hand and how to prepare reports serving the team’s strategy.

• Playing philosophy and analysis: Linking the analysis process with the adopted playing style to ensure that technical observations align with the team’s identity on the field.

• Individual developmental analysis: Highlighting analytical principles that contribute to developing young players’ individual skills and addressing weaknesses based on accurate data.

• Training simulation: Connecting technical analysis cases to daily exercises, so that video footage and data serve as references for correcting mistakes during training sessions.
