  • Taylor Chase meets former co-star to provide immediate support
  • Efforts underway to return him to treatment and reconnect with his father

Former American actor Taylor Chase, known for his role as Martin Qwerly in the series Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, has received support from familiar faces after his recent condition raised concerns about his personal safety.

Chase, 36, met this week with his former co-star Daniel Curtis Lee in Los Angeles, after footage recently surfaced showing him living without shelter on the streets of Riverside, California.

Lee shared a video on Instagram documenting their emotional reunion on the street, accompanied by the caption: “Taylor Chase and Cookie reconnect with Ned over FaceTime. He’s been fed, protected from the rain, and a hotel has been secured! One step closer to long-term treatment.”

He added: “Taylor wants to livestream video games — who can help?”

Lee revealed his efforts to support Chase immediately, noting that he also helped him reconnect with his father.

He said: “Love is sometimes all we can give, and I’m happy he was able to reconnect with his dad.”

He added: “I believe we can bring Taylor back to his normal life, especially with the holiday season.”

Chase also received support from former co-stars such as Devon Werkheiser and Lindsey Shaw, who expressed their concern since the first video of him appeared.

They confirmed how difficult it was to see his condition, with Lee saying: “I felt helpless, and sometimes angry, because I couldn’t do much.”

Actor Shaun Weiss, known for his role as Greg Goldberg in The Mighty Ducks, noted that there are concrete steps being taken to help Chase access treatment and rehabilitation.

He said: “I’ve contacted my friends, and we have a place for him at a long-term treatment and rehab center. All we need now is to find him.”

Devon Werkheiser spoke about how hard it was to see his former colleague in this state, stressing: “Taylor was sensitive and kind-hearted, and it’s painful to see him like this. Anyone going through severe addiction and deep mental health struggles knows that turning things around requires enormous support, patience, and time.”
