In this context, press sources reported that the Actors’ Syndicate had been trying over the past days to contact the actor and convince him to return on his decision to withdraw, but these efforts were unsuccessful due to his ongoing health condition.

According to the same sources, the actor informed officials that he is currently unable to return to work or appear in front of cameras, apologizing for several artistic projects recently offered to him in recognition of his status.

The peak of interaction came when Tawfiq Abdel Hamid posted on Facebook a brief but deeply meaningful phrase saying: “I have lost passion for life,” which opened the door to widespread messages of support and prayers from his fans.

In an attempt to support him emotionally, director Hosni Saleh sent him a direct message urging him to overcome this stage, emphasizing his great status in the artistic community and referring to their long-standing relationship.
