In a tragic scene that shook the Al-Kom Al-Ahmar area in Giza Governorate, Egypt, a humanitarian attempt to extinguish a fire inside a residential apartment ended in a disaster that claimed the lives of three young men, after they died from electrocution while intervening before rescue teams arrived.

According to security authorities, they received a report of a fire breaking out in one of the apartments in the area. Immediately, civil protection forces moved to the scene, supported by fire trucks, in an attempt to control the flames and prevent them from spreading to nearby buildings.

Preliminary investigations showed that the three young men attempted to extinguish the fire themselves before the arrival of firefighting teams, in a humanitarian effort to contain the situation and save the place. However, the intervention ended tragically after they were electrocuted due to contact with an electrical source while using an iron ladder at the scene.

The incident resulted in the death of the two brothers, one a accountant and the other a worker, along with a third young man who was with them, turning a moment of bravery into a heartbreaking tragedy.

The bodies were transferred to the morgue under the disposal of the investigating authorities, while the competent authorities initiated legal procedures and filed an official report to fully determine the circumstances of the incident.
