In a direct step to contain the controversy, Lebanese artist Ragheb Alama chose a warm family response, taking advantage of his eldest son Khaled’s birthday. He posted on his Instagram “Story” a photo of himself with his sons Khaled and Louay, sending them an emotional message in which he said: “Khaled and Louay, I love you very much, and I am extremely proud of you and your strong success and wonderful personalities. Keep succeeding, keep smiling, and believe in yourselves. I will see you next week, my dear sons. I send you thousands of kisses from Sydney.”

The artist also shared another photo of his son Khaled hugging him in childhood, writing a birthday message: “Happy birthday Khaled, I am very proud of the man you have become. I wish you and my beloved Louay a life full of success, health, and happiness.”

On the other hand, the artist’s brother and manager, Khodor Alama, entered the crisis, firmly denying the validity of what was being circulated, confirming in media statements that the video is completely fake and that they had no knowledge of it, stressing that the published content has no basis in truth.

The details of the crisis go back to the circulation of a video clip attributed to Ragheb Alama, which appeared misleadingly showing him speaking negatively about his son Louay, along with claims related to his personal life, sparking widespread controversy before it was revealed to be fabricated content created using artificial intelligence.

While the circulated video continued to spread rapidly, the artist emphasized through his family messages the strength of the relationship that binds him with his sons, indirectly confirming that what is being circulated does not reflect reality, and that its purpose was only to stir controversy.

With this public family response, Ragheb Alama closed the chapter of controversy, reaffirming his strong bond with his sons and stressing that the circulating rumors have no reliable source, at a time when the risks of fake AI-generated content on social media platforms are increasing.
