Moments of anticipation that preceded her wedding day turned into a devastating tragedy, following the death of a Palestinian young woman who was preparing to begin a new chapter of her life in two months. Her dream of wearing a wedding dress turned into an early farewell that ended an unfinished story, amid a shock that is difficult to put into words.

The Palestinian young woman, Areej Muhammad Faraj Annab Nabulsi (20 years old), from the city of Qalqilya, died after a tragic traffic accident that occurred on Saturday/Sunday night in the Sufin area inside the city, after a vehicle without a driver slipped, running her over and causing her immediate death.

According to the spokesperson of the Palestinian police, the vehicle was seized and its owner was referred for investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident, while the competent authorities began legal procedures to clarify the details precisely.

The late young woman had been preparing for her wedding in the coming two months, getting ready for her new life amid the joy of her family and dreams that were close to coming true, before the scene suddenly turned into a harsh shock that shook everyone who knew her.

Photos and videos circulating on social media documented some of her final moments, deepening the state of grief and emotional impact, amid waves of sympathy, prayers, and painful remembrance of a girl who passed away before completing her happiness and before wearing the wedding dress she had been waiting for.

In a painful farewell, her family and loved ones bid her goodbye with broken hearts, confirming that her passing was sudden and shocking, and that she left life in the prime of her youth, remaining in memory as “a bride whose joy was never completed.”

She was described by those around her as a symbol of kindness and purity, and her early passing left a deep void and profound sadness, with widespread prayers asking God to have mercy on her soul, grant her paradise, and give patience and solace to her family.
