The Saudi blogger Fatoo Al-Subaie directly threatened Kuwaiti actress Elham Al-Fadalah following the latter’s release from prison, after being detained for about a month pending investigation in a case accusing her of “spreading false news.”

In a video posted on her Snapchat account, Fatoo mocked Al-Fadalah, comparing her to the late global pop singer Michael Jackson, while no official response came from the Kuwaiti actress, who completely ignored the threats.

Explicit Threat Fatoo confirmed that she would not remain silent about her rights, stating that she pursues her enemies legally and files complaints with the Public Prosecutor. She threatened that these measures would include Al-Fadalah in the coming period, without clarifying the reasons for her grudge. The blogger also added that she would prevent the actress from working in Saudi Arabia and would not allow her entry, saying, “If I don’t deprive you of everything in Saudi Arabia, I wouldn’t be my father’s daughter.”

Admission of Leaking an Audio Clip Earlier, Fatoo admitted to leaking an audio recording that contributed to Al-Fadalah’s arrest, confirming that she would continue to disturb her and prevent her from working in the Kingdom in one way or another in the future.

The controversial clip sparked wide public reaction, with comments divided between those who supported preventing Al-Fadalah from working in Saudi Arabia and those who condemned the threats and mockery, raising questions about the nature of their relationship and the background of the conflict.

Previously, the Kuwaiti Public Prosecution had ordered Al-Fadalah’s detention for 21 days due to a leaked audio recording linked to state security cases, before she was temporarily released later.
