His wife, Mrs. Nehila Tawfiq, and his son Sherif Shaker were at the forefront of those accompanying the body on its final journey, alongside an official presence from representatives of the Egyptian embassy in Paris. Cairo Airport also witnessed a notable reception from prominent artistic figures, including the Head of the Musicians’ Syndicate Mostafa Kamel, singer Nadia Mustafa, and Health Minister Hala Zayed, in an atmosphere dominated by sadness and shock.
After the arrival of the body, it was transferred to Sheikh Zayed Hospital. The funeral is scheduled to take place on Wednesday afternoon from “Abu Shaqa” Mosque, before the burial in the family cemetery on Al-Wahat Road in 6th of October City.
