French entrepreneur turns his wedding suit into an advertising canvas – photos

French entrepreneur Dagobert Renouf decided to turn his wedding into a unique marketing opportunity by transforming his wedding suit into a platform for startup advertisements, covering the celebration’s costs in an innovative and unconventional way.
Renouf collaborated with a tailor to turn his jacket into a complete display featuring the logos of 26 companies working in AI, software, and tech tools, along with his own company, CompAi. In July, he announced this ambitious idea from Lille, emphasizing that the goal was to finance the wedding by selling ad spaces stitched onto the groom’s suit, creating a mobile artwork of corporate logos.
Honoring the companies that supported the couple Renouf describes himself on LinkedIn as a software engineer turned startup founder, noting that he spent over $100,000 on his company over five years before experiencing a “major collapse,” which prompted him to seek innovative ways to fund both his project and personal life simultaneously.
Each logo on the suit reflects appreciation for the companies that supported the couple, making the groom appear at the altar as if standing in front of a moving billboard. For the brands, this step represented a low-cost, high-impact opportunity, placing each company’s logo on an unconventional and unexpected platform—the wedding suit itself.
Renouf added, “If you’re only going to wear the suit once, why not let SaaS companies cover the cost?” Thus, he turned a personal moment into an innovative marketing campaign that captured attention and admiration.
