Person Falls into Zarqa Flood Channel Amid Worry and Tension Search and Inspection Operations Underway in the Flood Channel

The governorate of Zarqa has been living in a state of anticipation and concern for several hours, following a report received by civil defense teams about a person who fell into the Zarqa flood channel near a local site, in an incident that highlighted the dangers of approaching flood channels during unstable weather conditions.

Immediately, the Public Security Directorate deployed specialized diving teams to the location, according to a statement received by Roya TV, where search and inspection operations began inside the flood channel under challenging field conditions, in direct cooperation with the Zarqa Police Directorate, in an attempt to locate the missing person and ensure their safety.

The specialized teams have continued their work since the moment of the report, amid calls from locals for the safety of the rescue teams, hoping that the search operations will end with the person being rescued as quickly as possible.

In a related context, the Public Security Directorate renewed its appeal to citizens to avoid the edges of valleys, flood channels, and areas where water accumulates, and not to risk crossing roads with high water levels, whether by vehicle or on foot, to protect lives and prevent accidents that could have serious consequences.
