Tree-fall accident sends İbrahim Yıldız to intensive care – Video

Young Turkish actor İbrahim Yıldız suffered a tragic accident about eight days ago, when a tree fell on him due to strong winds, causing severe injuries to his body. He has continued to face health challenges since the incident.
Yıldız, who has appeared in theatrical productions such as "Professional Kösem" and "Döy Beni", was transported by ambulance to the Pendik Training and Research Hospital at Marmara University in Turkey, after paramedics confirmed the severity of his condition and the urgent need for intensive care. He has been receiving treatment in the ICU since his admission.
Urgent Surgery
Turkish media reported that Yıldız (27) underwent a 15-hour emergency surgery at Marmara University Hospital to address the multiple injuries caused by the falling tree. He has continued to receive care in the intensive care unit since the operation.
Meanwhile, renowned actress Bahar Şahin reassured the public about Yıldız’s condition, stating that he is gradually improving and is expected to recover from the effects of the accident soon.
“Urgent Need for Blood”
Şahin wrote on her social media accounts: “İbrahim’s condition is improving. If he were a high-profile figure, the news would have been broadcast from the hospital, but we barely receive updates. It is unfortunate. Our prayers are with you, İbrahim. All of this will pass, I believe.”
She also highlighted the urgent need for a blood transfusion, posting a day earlier: “Please spread the news quickly. Blood type Rh (+) is urgently needed for platelet donation. Those with this blood type should contact Emre Altınay.”
The accident occurred in the Kartal district, specifically on Nur Street in the Orta neighborhood, at 2:45 PM local time on August 15, while Yıldız was trying to pick up a plastic chair that had fallen on the road. Suddenly, a tree toppled due to the strong winds and struck him. Paramedics immediately assessed his injuries, confirmed their severity, and transported him to the hospital for intensive care treatment.
