According to the case details, the court sentenced the defendant to nine years of temporary hard labor, after reducing the penalty from twelve years due to the dropping of personal charges, while convicting him of “intentional homicide” instead of “premeditated murder,” in accordance with the final judicial decision.

The incident dates back to June 2025, when the son was living with his father following the separation of his parents, moving between two homes that each held different parts of his short life. During the days of Eid al-Adha, he spent three days with his mother before returning to his father’s house, where the latter had already made a tragic decision that ended his son’s life.

Court documents indicated that the father planned the act calmly, preparing a sharp tool from the kitchen before carrying out the crime one morning, stabbing his son and assaulting him in a way that led to his death, in a moment described as shocking and deeply cruel.

After committing the act, the defendant moved the body to a room in the house and hid it in an attempt to conceal the crime. He also cleaned blood traces and hid the weapon, reflecting an effort to evade the consequences of his actions.

The tragedy did not end there, as the father attempted to mislead the family, telling the child’s grandfather that his son was “playing outside,” before the truth later emerged, leading to the discovery of the body and the involvement of security authorities. The forensic report confirmed that the cause of death was a deep incised wound to the neck.
