A state of confusion and chaos dominated global star Ricky Martin’s concert in Montenegro after the show was suddenly halted following a security incident that caused panic among attendees and forced a temporary stop.

According to a statement issued by the artist’s team via his official Instagram account, one of the attendees allegedly released a substance suspected to be tear gas or pepper spray toward the stage during the concert, which was held as part of the 20th anniversary celebrations of Montenegro’s independence.

Social media platforms circulated testimonies and video clips from inside the concert, showing a state of panic among attendees. Several reported a strong smell resembling pepper spray, prompting many to cover their faces and quickly leave the venue.

Despite the tension, Ricky Martin later returned to the stage and continued the concert after authorities confirmed that the situation was safe, even though some members of his team had advised him not to continue at that time.

The concert is part of the global star’s new European tour, which includes several shows across countries such as Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, and Turkey during the upcoming summer season.

He has also recently announced his participation in the “Heritage Live” festival in the United Kingdom this coming August, marking his only appearance there in 2026, amid strong anticipation from fans.
