According to sources cited by the outlet, people close to the singer had been urging her to take this step in recent times, before she eventually agreed to enter the treatment program of her own free will.

The sources added that Spears now appears to fully recognize the scale of the challenges she is facing, noting that she has reached a difficult stage in her life, with one quote describing her as feeling she has “hit rock bottom.”

Reports indicate that the singer has struggled for years with issues linked to the use of certain substances.

According to TMZ, her decision to enter treatment may also be connected to a DUI case, with insiders suggesting it could help demonstrate to the court that she is taking the matter seriously as legal proceedings continue.
