In a significant development in the Ramtha crime, in which two young girls and their mother lost their lives after the mother took her own life following the killing of her daughters, a knowledgeable source confirmed that the mother did not suffer from any mental illnesses and that her medical record was clean. This comes in clear response to what has been circulated on social media regarding inaccurate information about her condition.

Social media platforms erupted immediately after the incident, amid shock and widespread questions about the motives behind what happened, after a woman opened fire on her two daughters in the Ramtha district, before ending her own life by shooting herself, in a tragic incident that continues to weigh heavily on Jordanians.

According to the spokesperson of the Public Security Directorate, earlier, a report was received by the Ramtha Police Directorate on Sunday, stating that a woman, following family disputes, shot her two daughters, born in 2015 and 2017, causing their immediate deaths.

He added that the woman then shot herself and died, while security authorities have launched an investigation to determine all the circumstances surrounding the incident.
