• Yousra recalled touching memories with her late mother
• She opened up about her feelings and shed genuine tears

During an interview on a media program, Yousra emphasized that the bond she shared with her mother was exceptional, describing her as a close friend who shared all her secrets and could sense her hidden emotions just by hearing her voice.

The star explained: “Mama kept my secrets, she was my companion, and whenever I tried to hide something from her, she knew. She could feel me through the tone of my voice. When she comforted me, all the worries and problems of the world would lift off my shoulders.”

She revealed how she expresses her emotions, affirming that her tears flow spontaneously, without prior planning, and that any touching moment can make her cry instantly, noting that real tears cannot be controlled.

Yousra is embarking on a new dramatic project titled “Heart of the Sun”, set to air in the off-season, in collaboration with director Mohamed Sami. The series carries a romantic tone with social touches, featuring a star-studded cast including Dorra, Engy Al-Muqaddem, Mahmoud Qabil, Entesar, Sawsan Badr, Basant Shawqi, Edward, Menna Fadali, Ahmed Wafiq, Amr Wahba, Nour Ehab, Ashraf Zaki, Michelle Massac, Suli, Aysel Ramzy, and Tuana Al-Johari.

Sources noted that Yousra had previously participated in early preparations for the series “Harem Al-Safeer”, scheduled to air during Ramadan 2026, after signing contracts with stars such as Ahmed Zaher and Nahed Al-Sebai. However, the project was officially postponed from the Ramadan lineup due to tight schedules and incomplete artistic preparations.

The series consists of 15 episodes, written by Ahmed Adel and directed by Abdel Aziz Al-Naggar. Yousra plays the role of an ambassador’s wife who becomes entangled in a murder case and the smuggling of prohibited materials within a suspenseful dramatic storyline.

Due to the postponement, Yousra will not appear in Ramadan's shows for the third consecutive year.
