The city of Casablanca is preparing to host the first stop of this tour, where the anticipated concert will take place on Friday, April 10, inside the Mohammed V Sports Complex. The show is expected to combine live performance, theatrical elements, and a full orchestra, offering the audience an immersive experience that revives the voice and image of the late artist.

This event coincides with the 49th anniversary of Abdel Halim Hafez’s passing, who died on March 30, 1977, amid renewed feelings of nostalgia among his fans. His family marked the occasion this year differently by opening the cemetery to the public, while noting that visiting his home will not be allowed during this period due to current circumstances and solidarity with the situation in the region.

Meanwhile, discussions continue regarding rumors about selling the singer’s house, which the family has firmly denied, stressing that legal action will be taken against those spreading such rumors, and affirming that the house will remain open to his fans and admirers.

These developments follow earlier controversy after the home in Cairo’s Zamalek district was closed and a symbolic entry fee was introduced for the first time since the artist’s passing, which sparked widespread discontent among his fans, leaving the house a lasting cultural and historical symbol.
