The Jordanian women’s national team has entered a serious preparation phase with the start of its domestic training camp in the capital, Amman, ahead of representing Jordan at the upcoming Asian finals.
This gathering marks the first intensive training stage under national coach Hussam Abu Riyash, focusing on tactical and physical preparations before traveling to Thailand for the Women’s Asia Cup in April.
Full squad at Java Stadium
On Wednesday evening, the team held its second full-session training at Java Stadium, with the coaching staff concentrating on recovery, physical conditioning, and tactical drills aimed at enhancing player cohesion.
The camp atmosphere is filled with optimism and determination, as players aim to secure their spot in the final squad that will defend the “Nashama” colors at the continental stage.
22 Players in Abu Riyash’s list
Coach Hussam Abu Riyash called up 22 players for the camp, including: Selin Saif, Sajda Issa, Renata Al-Bdaina, Sadin Obaidat, Ranim Al-Dawoud, Layan Al-Dmour, Maya Awadallah, Nour Ahmed, Mira Al-Jarar, Rama Al-Khashouk, Sawar Obeid, Hala Marar, Lamar Al-Shalabi, Riana Issa, Lin Abu Halwa, Kinda Al-Titi, Alma Al-Saifi, Diana Al-Khawaja, Raghad Al-Tarawneh, Malak Salameh, and Dana Abu Hazim.
Camp agenda and local test
The current camp is set to continue until Monday, February 16, with intensive morning and evening sessions.
It will also feature a friendly match against a local club, allowing the coaching staff to assess player performance and implement tactical plans under competitive conditions.
