A Turkish fisherman found the body of a fully clothed young man with an ID card stuck to his fishing line, allowing authorities to identify him immediately.

The fisherman was spending time near the beach in Antalya, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, when his line struck a heavy object that he could not pull alone.

He enlisted the help of a friend who was fishing nearby and several bystanders, thinking they had caught a very large fish, before realizing that what was hooked was the body of a young man, while the circumstances of his drowning remain unknown.

A video clip showed the moments the body was brought to the shore and pulled out, after which the fishermen immediately reported the incident to the authorities for investigation.
