The Palestinian documentary "With Hassan in Gaza", directed by Kamal Al-Jaafari, received the Best Artistic Achievement award during the Doha Film Festival.

It shared the honor with the Japanese film "Renoir" directed by Chi Hayakawa at the closing of the festival in Qatar.

Palestinian actors Majd Eid and Nader Abdelhay were crowned Best Acting for their roles in "Once Upon a Time in Gaza" by the Nasser brothers, Tarzan and Arab.

The Sudanese director Suzana Mirghani won the Audience Award for her film "Queen of Cotton", while the Libyan director Jehan Ali took home Best Feature Documentary for "Baba and Gaddafi".

The Spanish film "City That Never Sleeps" directed by Guillermo Galloy won Best Feature Film, while the directing duo Aria Sanchez and Marina Mira from Spain and Cuba earned the Directing Award for "Elementary Stage".

The international feature film jury, which included 13 films, praised the Mexican film "The Reserve" directed by Pablo Perez Lombardini.

In the international short film competition with 20 films, the Brazilian film "Samba Forever" by Leonardo Martinelli took the top prize.

The jury also highlighted the Moroccan film "Al-Mina" by Randa Maaroufi, and the performance of young actor Ammar Ahmed in the Egyptian film "Zizo" drew special attention.

In the “Made in Qatar” competition, "Angry Fahd" directed by Justin Kramer dominated the awards among ten short films. Rashid Al-Shaib won Best Acting for his role in the same film, while Iman Mirghani received the Directing Award for "Villa 187". The jury also praised "Aisha" directed by Fahd Al-Nahdi.

The Tunisian director Kawthar Ben Haniya won Best Feature Film in the Cinematic Generations competition for "The Voice of Hind Rajab", while the short animation "Suleimani" by Finy Ann Boz earned Best Short Film.

The festival, organized by the Doha Film Institute, screened 97 films from 62 countries over nine days and included a diverse program of panel discussions, musical events, and interactive activities.
