Gold prices continue to fluctuate
The price of 21-karat gold reached 92.6 dinars
Gold prices in the local market rose on Thursday evening, recording a new increase of 70 piasters per gram, according to the pricing issued by the General Syndicate of Owners of Jewelry and Goldsmith Shops, amid continued fluctuations in the yellow metal during the recent period.
This increase comes as gold continues to dominate the local economic scene, being considered the most in-demand safe haven for citizens, especially amid global market volatility and changes in supply and demand.
According to the official pricing, the selling price of one gram of 21-karat gold, the most demanded in the local market, reached 92.6 dinars for retail sale, compared to 88.2 dinars for purchase.
The price of 24-karat gold reached about 106.3 dinars for selling, while 18-karat gold reached around 82.1 dinars, amid close monitoring by citizens and investors of daily price movements.
Specialists indicate that the continued frequent price movements of gold reflect instability in global markets, reinforcing its position as one of the most prominent safe havens and maintaining its dominance in local attention.
