Midfield star, international player Nizar Al-Rashdan, joined the Jordan national football team camp in the Tunisian capital ahead of Friday’s friendly against Tunisia, as part of “Al-Nashama’s” training camp in preparation for the 2026 World Cup and the 2025 Arab Cup.

The national team had conducted its final session on Thursday evening at the Radès secondary pitch with all players participating, except Al-Rashdan, who was scheduled to join the squad on Friday. This allowed coach Jamal Salami to work with all 31 players selected for the camp.

Al-Rashdan’s inclusion, considered one of the key midfield assets, adds significant strength to the team, especially as the camp includes two strong friendly matches: the first against Tunisia on Friday at the Olympique Stadium in Radès, and the second against strong Mali next Tuesday.

These carefully scheduled friendlies serve two main goals: preparing for continental competition at the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup in Qatar and readying the team for its historic debut at the 2026 World Cup.
