Gold prices increase by 2.10 dinars per gram on Thursday The selling price of 21-karat gold reaches 93.9 dinars

Gold prices in the Jordanian local market witnessed a sudden and noticeable rise today, Thursday, by 2.10 dinars per gram, according to the second daily pricing issued by the General Association of Owners of Jewelry and Goldsmith Shops, in a development that reversed the expectations of many citizens who had recently felt relieved due to previous price drops.

After a short period of optimism among Jordanians due to earlier declines in gold prices, the yellow metal surprised the local market with a new rise, bringing back a state of anticipation among citizens, especially those planning to buy or get married.

According to the issued pricing, the selling price of 21-karat gold, the most demanded among citizens, reached 93.9 dinars for retail sale, compared to 89.5 dinars for buying.

The price of 24-karat gold reached 107.80 dinars for selling, while 18-karat gold recorded 83.20 dinars.

This rise comes after a period of fluctuations in gold prices over the past days, reflecting continued instability in the local market, amid anticipation from citizens for any new changes in prices in the coming period.
