• Al-Wehdat succeeds in strong performance, wins 3-1 over Al-Baqa’a, qualifies for Jordan Cup quarter-finals

Al-Wehdat team secured a deserved victory over Al-Baqa’a, winning 3-1, to confirm its qualification to the quarter-finals of the Jordan Cup football tournament.

The match was held on Sunday at King Abdullah II Stadium in Al-Qweismeh, as part of the Round of 16 of the tournament.

With Al-Wehdat’s win, the eight teams qualifying for the quarter-finals are complete, marking the start of a new stage of excitement and competition for the coveted title.

Al-Wehdat to face Al-Salt in the quarter-finals

Al-Wehdat succeeded in delivering a strong performance that allowed it to achieve victory with three goals to one, setting up a clash with Al-Salt in the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, Al-Jazeera team qualified for the Jordan Cup quarter-finals after defeating Shabab Al-Aqaba 2-0 in the match held on Saturday at Aqaba Development Stadium, as part of the Round of 16.

Al-Jazeera will face Al-Hussein Irbid in the next round.

Also, Al-Salt and Al-Ahli teams advanced to the Jordan Cup quarter-finals after victories over Al-Hashmiya and Al-Sarih in the Round of 16. Al-Salt defeated Al-Hashmiya 3-0 at Amman International Stadium, while Al-Ahli won 1-0 against Al-Sarih at King Abdullah II Stadium in Al-Qweismeh, setting up a meeting with Al-Ramtha in the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, Shabab Al-Urdun team qualified for the Jordan Cup quarter-finals after defeating Ma’an 3-0 in the match held at Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa.

Al-Ramtha also advanced to the quarter-finals after defeating Amman FC 1-0 in the match held on Thursday at Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa, as part of the Round of 16.

Al-Faisaly qualified for the Jordan Cup quarter-finals after defeating Al-Sarhan 4-1, winning via penalty shootout after the regular time ended 0-0, in the Round of 16 match held on Wednesday at Amman Stadium.

Al-Hussein Irbid, who defeated Al-Karmel 6-0 in the same round, also advanced.
