The Egyptian Artistic Community Bids Farewell to Producer Tarek Siam After His Battle with Illness

The Egyptian artistic community was struck with grief on Wednesday by the death of Egyptian producer Tarek Siam, after a battle with illness. The funeral is scheduled to take place after noon prayers today at the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed City.
Tarek Siam was one of the most prominent producers in Egyptian drama and cinema in the third millennium, having produced a large number of distinguished works that achieved the highest viewership ratings over the past years. He collaborated with a stellar lineup of stars, including Nour El-Sherif, Ahmed El-Sakka, Tamer Hosny, Mostafa Shaban, and Ghada Abdel Razek.
Notable TV Series Some of his most notable series include: "Al-Masraweya" (both parts) starring the late Hesham Selim, "Al-Ar" with Mostafa Shaban, "Al-Batiniya" with Ghada Abdel Razek, "Al-Attar wal Sabaa Banat" with the late Nour El-Sherif, "Adam" with Tamer Hosny, "Khotout Hamraa" with Ahmed El-Sakka, "Kid El-Nesa" (both parts) with Fifi Abdo and Somaya El-Khashab, and "Dalaa Banat" with Mai Ezz El-Din and Mohamed Emam.
Distinguished Films In cinema, Tarek Siam produced numerous films for major stars, including: "El-Basha Telmiz" with Karim Abdel Aziz, "Ayial Habiba" with Hamada Helal and Ghada Adel, "55 Esaaaf" with Ahmed Helmy and Mohamed Saad, and "Hareem Kareem" with Mostafa Kamel and Yasmin Abdel Aziz.
Tarek Siam began his journey in television production in 1984, founding the production company Arab Screen, which produced many cinematic and television works. In 2018, he was appointed chairman of the board of Al-Nahar TV Network.
