Saudi retired actress Sarah Al-Ghamdi has passed away at the age of 49, following nearly a year-long battle with a malignant facial tumor. She died at the Specialized Hospital in Jeddah.

Media personality Soha Al-Waal confirmed the news of her passing on her account on the X platform, stating that Al-Ghamdi died on Friday, May 23, 2025.

Al-Waal explained that despite showing signs of recovery and previously leaving the hospital, Sarah’s condition unexpectedly deteriorated last week, leading to her sudden death. She expressed deep sorrow over the loss, saying that Sarah was not just a public figure known to her family, but a kind, genuine, and noble friend. “It pains me deeply to share this sad news,” she wrote.
