Recipe Ingredients:
For the chicken:- 8 cubed chicken breasts- 8 cloves of garlic, minced- 1 tablespoon grated ginger- ¼ cup lemon juice- ½ cup olive oil- ¼ cup vinegar- 1 tablespoon garam masala- 1 teaspoon turmeric- 1 teaspoon curry powder- Smoked paprika- Cayenne pepper- 1 tablespoon dried thyme- Salt and pepper- 2 tablespoons tomato paste- ¼ cup ketchup- 2 tablespoons yogurt
For the rice:- 3 cups rice- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil- 2 cardamom pods- 1 teaspoon turmeric- 1 teaspoon curry powder- 1 teaspoon salt- Boiling water
For the yogurt sauce:- 1 kilogram of yogurt- ¼ cup tahini- 2 cloves of garlic, minced- 1 teaspoon salt- 2 tablespoons lemon juice- ¼ cup chopped parsley for garnish- Green onions and hot peppers- Fried almonds and pine nuts for garnish- Optional: a small amount of chicken broth
