Al-Hussein Sports Club announced in an official statement the start of arrangements for the return of its delegation currently in Qatar, with plans for the team to travel by road to Dammam, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday.

The club confirmed that this step came thanks to the close follow-up by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, in full coordination with the Jordanian embassy staff in Doha, along with the significant cooperation provided by Saudi authorities to facilitate the delegation’s transit.

The club’s board expressed its sincere gratitude and appreciation to all official parties that contributed support and necessary facilitation, which played a crucial role in ensuring the delegation’s movements and serving club members amid the current circumstances that led to the postponement of the team’s match against Al-Ahli of Qatar in AFC Champions League 2.

Return options to Jordan

Regarding the next phase of the return journey, the statement clarified the following:

• Procedures are currently being monitored for the delegation’s return from Saudi Arabia to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

• The club’s management is studying several potential options to ensure the team reaches Jordan in the best possible way.

• The club pledged to keep fans and media fully informed of all updates and final decisions as they are made.
